Many of us have grown up neglecting our empath energy due to how society perceived our emotions.
We learnt that being vulnerable, expressing our emotions was seen as a weakness, and slowly we began to ignore our intuition and trust the opinions of others.
People-pleasing and sacrificing our needs became part of our norm. We ended up making sure everyone else was okay, except ourselves.
I know what it’s like to lose yourself in a society where your sensitivity is seen as a weakness. I know what it’s like to be mocked for expressing my emotions. I know what it’s like to walk away from the expectations of others and finally take my power back.
I know what it’s like to realise that people’s opinions were never my own, in fact, I had neglected myself for decades to accommodate other people’s needs except myself.
I understand that being an empath can feel heavy, especially when you’re an unrealised empath. But when you become an empowered empath, you no longer bend over backwards, use alcohol, pills or food to numb your pain.
You stand in your truth, hold strong boundaries and heal past trauma to live an Empowered life. You realise that your sensitivity is a gift and you have the ability to help people, without sacrificing your time and energy.
When we take our power back as empaths, we are able to lead the way for others. Dr. Anna knows what it’s like being a sensitive soul in a masculine energy world.
